This year the CKS Pine Creek Boater X will be held at the #4 rapid in the Numbers section of the Arkansas River. High water safety concerns prompted this decision and with the water still rising the #4 rapid should prove to be a worthy alternative.
All competitors will have a timed run through the rapid to seed the Boater X heats. Heats of 4 will then compete with the top two moving on.
Parking will be provided on county road 371 but is very limited. Competitors and spectators are encouraged to carpool or better yet boat down from the numbers put in. Parking volunteers will be present to help maximize the space.
An important change to take note of, this year we will be racing in PLAYBOATS! Leave the creeker at home as the numbers is a classic play run.
