Arts and Crafts Vendor Application

Approximately 15 Arts and Crafts vendors are needed for the New Belgium FIBArk Whitewater Festival June 14-17, 2012 in Salida, CO. Only handmade items are appropriate for this festival. All items and applications will be approved by the FIBArk Board for artists’ acceptance into the festival. Booth spaces are 10x10 feet and cost $250.00 per booth space. A $20 Non-Refundable Application Fee must accompany all applications. Booths must be open during the festival at the following times:

Thursday, June 14, 2011 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Friday, June 15, 2011 10:00 am – 9:00 pm

Saturday, June 16, 2011 10:00 am – 9:00 pm

Sunday, June 17, 2011 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

Please note that Salida’s Riverside Park policies do not allow any stakes to be driven into the ground, nor vehicles driven onto the grass due to extensive irrigation systems underground. Booths will be on the grass so please make appropriate accommodations. Artists who fail to adhere to Riverside Park & New Belgium FIBArk Whitewater Festival policies will be asked to leave and will not be allowed to return in future years. This is a Sustainable Festival and artists will be expected to respect festival requests and to keep this festival green and safe for the enjoyment of all.

Please send any of the following items you are not submitting online in a packet to FIBArk, to be received no later than April 2nd, 2012. Incomplete applications or packets will not be considered:

  • 3 photographs of sample items with your application or email them to Chuck Deveney brewshop@swbell.net (enter ‘FIBArk’ in the subject line of your email). 
  • $20 Non-Refundable Jury Fee check made out to FIBArk Boat Races, INC (separate check-will be cashed upon receipt).
  • $250 Booth Fee check made out to FIBArk Boat Races, INC (will be cashed if accepted, otherwise returned to artist)
  • Colorado Special (or Multiple) Events or Salida Sales Tax License
  • Fully Completed Application Form (enter ‘FIBArk’ in the subject line of your email).

The deadline to submit applications is April 2nd , 2012. Vendors will be selected solely on the basis of product quality, originality and vendor professionalism. Applicants who have been selected will be contacted via email, by April 16th, 2012. Booth Fee checks will be returned to those artists who have not been accepted to this year’s festival.
